This was a really good bout. The bout was closed the the public because the venue (a Westside Santa Cruz warehouse) doesn't have room for audience seating... although it does have room for a regulation-sized track (unlike the track at the Santa Cruz Civic).
Slaughter County played and beat Silicon Valley the night before by a convincing 70 or 80 points.
Santa Cruz held the lead for the entire first half. Even when Onda Sligh (#66) scored 30+ point jams in the second half, Santa Cruz fought back, at times the point spread was only 1 or 4 points at the end of the jams 15 minutes into the second half. In the end Slaughter County came out ahead, 151 to 125.
